Jules is thrilled to announce her newest adventure, Company! This is her first Sondheim musical and she is so excited to delve into the music. ECU’s production of Company, directed by Bryan Conger and choreographed by Tommi Galaska, opened in late February! Purchase tickets here!

Once on This Island
Most recently, Jules performed as Andrea in ECU’s production of Once on This Island directed by Lisanne Shaffer-Dickerson and choreographed by Tommi Galaska. She is so incredibly grateful to be a part of this cast and making history with them on the Loessin Playhouse Stage is something she’ll carry with her forever.

Kings Dominion
Jules spent the summer dancing at Kings Dominion in Dowell, Virginia. By day, Jules was a French Can-Can dancer and by night, Jules danced in the Grand Carnivale Parade! This was an incredible learning experience. She is so grateful for her first parade experience and for all the people she met!

Swing!
Jules was delighted to be cast as the Latin Feature and in the dance ensemble in Swing! at East Carolina University’s Loessin Playhouse under the direction of Tommi Galaska. She spent the winter dancing and singing through the Swing era of Jazz! She had the best time learning a new style of dance with her partner, Andrew Goins. The show opened in late February 2023.

The Wild West Spectacular!
In the summer of 2022, Jules performed in the dance ensemble of The Wild West Spectacular, The Musical! directed and choreographed by Elizabeth Fernandez. She also had the opportunity to work as dance captain for the first time and she learned so much. The show was located in Cody, Wyoming and she made memories and connections that will last a lifetime!

Romeo and Juliet
In 2022, Jules spent the spring semester working on Romeo and Juliet, directed by Gregory Funaro. This was her first time working as a choreographer in her college career and she was so grateful to have her work debuted on the McGinnis stage! Jules performed in the ensemble, and served as Mercutio’s understudy. She learned so much about acting and can’t wait to work on another play soon!

Pippin
In the fall semester of 2021, Jules had the opportunity to receive a role in Pippin. This show opened in February 2022 at East Carolina University. The show was directed by Michael Tahaney, music directed by Jacob Kerzner and choreographed by Tommi Galaska. Jules performed as a dancer and in the singing ensemble. She had a wonderful time learning more about her craft and dancing alongside her talented peers!
